Old Men
DVD Review
Reviewed by Rena Hansen
Story
Joel and
Ethan Coen deliver their most gripping and ambitious film yet in this
sizzling and supercharged action-thriller. When a man stumbles on a
bloody crime scene, a pickup truck loaded with heroin, and two million
dollars in irresistible cash, his decision to take the money sets of
an unstoppable chain reaction of violence. Not even West Texas law can
contain it. Based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac
McCarthy, and featuring an acclaimed cast led by Tommy Lee Jones, this
gritty game of cat and mouse will take you to edge of your seat and
beyond - right up to its heart-stopping final moment. - From back

Special
Features
The Making Of
Behind
the scenes look and Interviews with Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones, Javier
Bardem, Kelly McDonald, Joel Coen and Ethan Coen. It really didn't have
anything more than that, which was rather boring.
Working with
the Coens
A inside
look at working with the Coens with interviews with Javier Bardem, Josh
Brolin, Kelly McDonald, Tommy Lee Jones, Tess Harper and the Coen's
crew. It was quite interesting to hear the different points of view
from everyone regarding the brothers.
Diary
of a Country Sheriff
Interviews
with Joel Coen, Ethan Coen, and Tommy Lee Jones regarding the Jones'
character, Sheriff Bell. Also included is an analyzation of Javier Bardem's
character. This inside look and interviews are just repetitive of The
Making of No Country For Old Men. This part was also boring and unnecessary.
OVERALL RATING: 2.5 out of 5
